French Fries

Who doesn’t like homemade french fries? They taste so much better than you can get anywhere else.Whenever I make them, they plate is gone before the next batch even comes out of the deep fryer!
Course: Sides

Ingredients
  

  • Russet potatoes
  • seasoning salt
  • oil

Equipment

  • 1 Electric deep fryer with basket
  • 1 Plastic cutting board mats (set of 3)
  • 1 Stainless steel mixing bowl set
  • 1 Stainless steel prep knife
  • 1 Stainless-steel Y peeler

Method
 

  1. Peel and slice potatoes to desired thickness.
  2. Place potatoes in ice cold water for 10 minutes
  3. Fry in oil at 375° for 7 minutes
  4. Drain on paper towel and season with seasoning salt
