Soccer Warm Up # 13 Training Drill

Setup
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per player
- 5 min
Rules & Objectives
- players dribble inside playing area
- on coach's command players dribble their ball to each of the four touchlines
- players must trap the ball on the line before moving to the next one
- last player to do that does 10 x push ups (squat jumps etc.)
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- when coach calls out a player's name everybody dribbles their ball to that player who has to stop his ball dead
- on coach's command players dribble their ball around each of the four white (blue) cones
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
