Soccer Staggered Dribble Training Drill

Setup
- 2 groups
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per player
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- on coach's command all players dribble to opposite line
- first group to arrive at the opposite line wins
- play multiple rounds
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- when groups meet in the middle the players perform a variation of drills (swap ball with neighbor,
- specific move, 10 toe taps, 10 tick tocks etc.)
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
