Soccer Short Passing # 9 Training Drill

Setup
- in pairs
- grid (15yds x 15yds)
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per pair
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- player with the ball dribbles to open corner cone
- once he gets to the cone he passes to his partner while moving(ball cannot come to a standstill)
- the receiver now dribbles to the open corner cone and passes to his partner while moving
- continue sequence
- team to complete most passes in 90 seconds wins
Variations
- three or four touch max for each player
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
