Soccer Self Pass in Groups Training Drill

Setup
- grid (20yds x 30yds)
- cones to mark off area
- half the group with a ball
- 5 min
Rules & Objectives
- players with the ball pass it through open legs of standing players
- player with most passes within 90 seconds wins
Variations
- players make a half moon pass (i.e. pass it past a player to his right and run by him on his left to receive own pass)
- players perform a move before making a the self-pass through legs
- specify how players must pass (left or right foot etc.)
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
