Soccer Relay Race # 1 Training Drill

Setup
- 2 groups
- 3-4 players per group
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per group
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- player dribbles around the cone as shown
- next player repeats sequence
- the first group to be back to its original position after 2-3 rounds wins
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- players dribble around the cone and return diagonally to the other side
- first group to be back to its original position wins
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
