Soccer Crossing Activity # 1.3 Training Drill

Setup
- 1 goalie
- good supply of cones
- 1 goal
- good supply of balls
- 10-20 min
Rules & Objectives
- player 1 passes to player 2 who dribbles down to the goal line and through the cone goal and then
- makes a cross towards the middle to player 3 who has made a run towards the goal
- one point for each goal scored on one or two touch
- keep team score
Variations
- play without goalie
- add a defender
- limit number of touches for players who make the corss
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
