Soccer Crossing Activity # 1.2 Training Drill

Setup
- 1 goalie
- good supply of cones
- 1 goal
- good supply of balls
- 15-25 min
Rules & Objectives
- player 1 passes to player 2 who dribbles down to the goal line and through the cone goal and then makes a cross towards the middle to player 3, 4 &5 who have made a run towards the goal
- one defender (grey) in front of goal
Variations
- play without goalie
- limit number of touches for players who cross the ball in
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
