Soccer Cone Goal Dribbling 2 Training Drill

Setup
- grid (30yds x 30yds)
- cones to mark off area
- cone goals (4-6yds)
- each attacker with a ball
- 10-15 min
Rules & Objectives
- attackers attempt to dribble over goal line with control
- attackers can only dribble over goal line from one side
- attackers cannot dribble at same goal twice in a row
- defenders must stay on goal line and can only move from side to side (they cannot go forward)
- players switch roles after 2-3 minutes
Variations
- attackers can dribble through cone goals from both sides
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
