Soccer Cone Flippin’ Training Drill

Setup
- 2 teams
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per player
- pinnies (optional)
- 10-15 min
Rules & Objectives
- each team is assigned a cone color
- on coach's command players dribble and flip over the cones from the other team with their hands while keeping control of the ball
- players also try to flip over their own cones back to their original position
- play 2-3 rounds 2 minutes each
- team that has less cones upside down at the end wins
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (left or right foot, inside or outside foot etc.)
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
