Soccer Cone Dribbling # 5 Training Drill

Setup
- cones to mark off area
- each player outside grid with a ball
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- players throw ball to another player inside grid who controls it and dribbles to next group to his right
Variations
- first player runs without a ball to the group to his left, receives the ball and dribbles to next group in a clockwise direction
- vary ways of receiving the ball (head, chest, knee etc.)
- vary service (high, low, with or without spin etc.)
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary

- good first touch into space
