Soccer 1v1v1 Variation Training Drill

Setup
- 3 teams with 2-3
- cones to mark off area
- cone goals (3-4yds)
- pinnies
- 15-25 min
Rules & Objectives
- the coach plays in the ball
- the players score by dribbling through their own cone goal
- repeat sequence with a new set of players
- the first team to reach 3 points wins
Variations
- set a time limit for each game (i.e. 45 seconds)
- add a neutral player
- play 2v2v2
- players score by passing through their own cone goal to a teammate who controls the ball
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
