Soccer Shooting Exercise # 4 Training Drill

Setup
- 2 teams
- 2 goalies
- good supply of cones
- 2 goals
- 1 ball per player
- 10-15 min
Rules & Objectives
- the first player in each line dribbles towards the other goal and passes to the player from the other group as shown
- the players then take a shot on goal on their second touch
- repeat sequence
- switch sides after 6-10 minutes
Variations
- specify how players must shoot (left or right foot, inside or laces, high or low etc.)
- players must make a lofted pass to their partner
- players must finish on goal by dribbling around the goalie
- players must finish on goal on their first touch
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group

- accurate passes
