Soccer Relay Cone Dribbling # 1 Training Drill

Setup
- 4 groups
- grid (15yds x 15yds)
- good supply of cones
- 1 ball per group
- 10-15 min
Rules & Objectives
- on coach's command first player from each group dribbles around 3 cones and then stops the ball dead in front
- of next the player who repeats the sequence
- team that has all of its players dribble around 3 white cones first wins
Variations
- players must dribble to four different cones and touch them with their hand
- players must dribble to four different cones and touch them with their knee
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
