Soccer Passing Triangle # 2 Training Drill
Setup
- grid (30yds x 30yds)
- 4 cones to mark off area. 3 cones per triangle station.
- half the group with a ball
- pinnies
- 10-15 min
Rules & Objectives
- players dribble inside playing area
- players make a pass to player inside the triangle who then dribbles out through a different side of the triangle as shown
- pass giver follows pass and takes receiver's spot inside triangle
- players switch role if defender wins ball (defender carries pinnie)
Variations
- taggers must dribble a ball and carry a pinnie / flag
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
