Soccer Passing Pattern # 8 Training Drill

Setup
- groups of 3
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per group
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- players pass to each other in sequence as shown
- 1. high pass over player in middle
- 2. player receives high pass and passes it on to player in middle
- 3. player in middle controls pass and passes it back to starting player
Variations
- player who receives lofted pass can go through the following skills: (inside foot volley, top of the foot volley,
- thigh volley, chest volley, headers etc.)
- one-touch passing for player at outer cones
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
