Soccer Musical Cones Training Drill

Setup
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per player
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- players dribble inside the playing area
- on coach's command players must dribble to a cone
- only one player allowed per cone
- player (or players) who don't get to cone do 10 squat jumps (push ups, jumping jacks etc.)
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- start game without balls as a warm up
- players must leave their ball behind at a cone and run to a cone with somebody else's ball
- players must dribble around an outer cone first before dribbling to a cone on the inside of the grid
