Soccer Multiple 1v1 Six Goals Training Drill

Setup

  • in pairs (attacker vs. defender)
  • cones to mark off area
  • 6 cone goals (2-4yds)
  • 1 ball per pair
  • 10-15 min

Rules & Objectives

  • players can score on any of the six goals
  • partners switch roles after each goal
  • if the defenders wins the ball he gives it right back
  • switch partners

Variations

  • use mini goals instead of cone goals
  • players must dribble through cone goals to score
  • each player defends and attacks three goals
  • attackers and defenders switch roles after 2-3 minutes
  • adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
