Soccer Knock Out # 3 Training Drill

Setup
- cones to mark off grid
- 1 ball per player
- 5-15 min
Rules & Objectives
- players dribble inside the playing area
- on coach's command all players attempt to knock out everybody else's ball while protecting their own ball
- if a player's ball gets kicked out of the grid, he retrieves the ball and dribbles around the grid or performs any
- other task (like juggling etc.)
- last player with a ball inside the grid wins
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- specify how players must pass shoot (left or right foot, inside or outside foot etc.)
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group
