Inside Out
This drill focuses on developing a reliable and powerful forehand, including the inside-out variation. Alternating between a standard forehand crosscourt and an inside-out forehand from the backhand side helps players practice footwork, positioning, and balance while keeping their dominant shot in play. By repeating the sequence multiple times, players build confidence in using the forehand as both a consistent rally shot and a weapon to attack. This is an excellent exercise for all levels, from beginners refining technique to advanced players sharpening their control and intensity.
