Soccer Group Dribbling Training Drill

Setup
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per player
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- all players dribble towards the middle and perform a specific move in front of the cone (scissor, step over etc.)
- players then dribble towards the next cone in a clockwise direction
- players should try to move in sync
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- players dribble in counterclockwise direction
- players just dribble back and forth between their starting cone and the middle cone
- players stop their ball at the middle cone and take the ball of their neighbor to dribble back to the neighboring cone
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
