Five-Position Consistency Drill
This drill is designed to build accuracy, control, and consistency by having the coach move through multiple feeding positions while the player sustains rallies. The focus is on keeping shots controlled with high net clearance and limiting errors during the sequence. By moving the target positions, players are challenged to adjust their footwork and shot placement under changing angles, reinforcing discipline and patience in groundstrokes.
Setup
- Coach designates five feeding positions across the court:
- Service box (center)
- To the side at the service line
- Opposite side at the service line
