First-Strike Serve & Winner Challenge
This drill focuses on developing the first serve as a weapon by rewarding players only when they win points directly or immediately off the serve. It builds accuracy, power, and tactical variation while reinforcing the mindset of using the first serve to create pressure and seize control of the point. The timed format keeps intensity high, making it ideal for competitive training.

- Standard singles court
- Basket of balls for serving
- Timer set for 8–10 minutes, split into two 4–5 minute segments

- Play continues for 4–5 minutes, keeping track of the server’s points
- After time is up, switch roles: the returner becomes the server for the next 4–5 minutes
Repetition
