Approach Volley & Drop Shot Sequence
This drill combines approach shots, volleys, and drop shots to train juniors in transitioning to the net while keeping rallies tactical and varied. Players practice moving forward after an approach, controlling volleys, and finishing points with placement. By sequencing down-the-line and crosscourt shots, the drill builds decision-making and consistency under game-like conditions.
Setup
- Coach feeding balls
- 3+ players rotating in sequence
- Standard court with baseline and service line markers
- Each player positioned to receive feeds one at a time
Rules & Objectives
- Coach feeds three balls in sequence to Player 1
