Baseline Corner Hitting Drill
This drill develops accuracy, consistency, and stamina by forcing one player to hit exclusively into a designated corner while the opponent has full court freedom.
Setup
- Player 1 starts in the middle of the baseline
- Player 2 starts on one side of the baseline (deuce or ad court)
Rules & Objectives
- Player 2 can hit anywhere on the court
- Player 1 must direct all shots only into the corner where Player 2 is standing
- Player 1 focuses on controlled placement, while Player 2 varies shots to make Player 1 move
- After 5 minutes, move Player 2 to the opposite side (ad court) and repeat with the same rules
- Switch roles after 10 minutes so both players practice accuracy and movement
Repetition
