Soccer Various Activities Training Drill

Setup

  • 3 grids as shown
  • cones to mark off area
  • 1 ball per player
  • 5-10 min

Rules & Objectives

  • on coach's command (verbal or nonverbal) players dribble into assigned grid
  • in each grid players perform a pre-assigned task (juggling, practice a specific move, play tag games
  • like “Everybody Is It” or “Knee Tag” etc.)

Variations

  • one group in each grid who rotate on coach's command
  • add a fourth grid
  • adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
