Soccer SSG Tournament Training Drill
Setup
- 4 teams
- play 2v2 or 3v3
- cones to mark off area
- 4 mini goals
- pinnies
- 15-25 min
Rules & Objectives
- play tournament
- each team plays each other twice
- each team defends and attacks one mini goal
- no throw-ins, corner kicks or offside
- when ball is out of bounce the ball is dribbled back in
Variations
- teams can score from inside the attacking half only
- teams can also score by dribbling across opponent's goal line
- minimum of two (three) touches
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
