Soccer Middle Cone Dribbling Training Drill

Setup
- 4 groups of 2-3
- cones to mark off area
- 1 ball per group
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- the first player in line from each group dribbles towards the middle and leaves it behind at the center cone
- the next player in line runs to get the ball and dribbles it back to the start
- the next player repeat sequence
Variations
- specify how players must dribble (inside or outside of foot, left or right foot only etc.)
- players perform a specific move when at the end of their dribbling path
- the next player in line meets dribbling player halfway on the way back to take over the ball
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
