Soccer 1v1 Practice Your Moves Training Drill

Setup
- 6-8 players max
- cones to mark off area
- half the group with a ball
- 5-10 min
Rules & Objectives
- players dribble in a clockwise direction towards the defender
- players beat the defender by performing a move of their choice
- switch roles after 2-4 minutes
- passive defenders
Variations
- active defenders
- defenders can move only from side to side
- defender gets beaten with specific move (stepover, scissor etc.)
- players must dribble in counterclockwise direction
- adjust spacing depending on the age and ability of the group if necessary
